Technical Expert Meetings (TEMs)

The GGG Technical Expert Meetings (TEMs) are a well-established format convened regularly since 2024, bringing together a broad range of experts from across the guarantee ecosystem, including regulators, MDBs, DFIs, guarantee providers, investors, credit rating agencies, private sector actors and civil society. With 35 meetings held to date, TEMs underpin the GGG’s role as a technical knowledge hub, bridging expertise, market actors and policy processes to advance the global guarantee agenda and help close the international climate finance gap.

The format provides a space to identify trends, share lessons learned, connect an otherwise fragmented ecosystem and feed these insights into the GGG’s knowledge products. Since 2026, TEMs have shifted to a more implementation-oriented monthly format, featuring deep dives into initiatives advancing the recommendations of the GGG’s 2025 flagship report, while fostering collaboration to address barriers and develop practical solutions.
